HALF BOTTLES

Italian winemakers don't produce many half bottles of wine. Who knows why not, it just happens that way. We do our best at Lil' Frankie's to seek out those that do and stock high quality wines in a 375 ml format. Why do that? There are a couple of reasons. Primarily, very high quality wine becomes much more affordable when you are only obligated to purchase a half bottle. You can treat yourself to a couple of glasses of a nice Barolo without having to convince everyone else at your table to do so as well. The other advantage is that wines age faster in smaller bottles. The result, you can taste that wine that you don't have the patience to wait five more years to open. Delicious...
